1. About this service

Klar provides independent HR support and coaching for employees navigating workplace issues. Sessions are delivered by Liv Zachariasen, a CIPD Level 7 qualified HR professional and trained coach.

Klar is a sole trader business operating under UK law.

2. What this service is

Klar provides:

  • HR support and coaching based on professional experience

  • Help understanding workplace processes and procedures

  • Support preparing for workplace meetings and conversations

  • A confidential, independent sounding board for workplace concerns

3. What this service is not

Klar does not provide:

  • Legal advice of any kind

  • Employment law advice

  • Representation in meetings or hearings

  • Union representation

  • Advice on whether to remain in or leave employment

  • Any guarantee of specific outcomes

If your situation requires legal advice, I will signpost you to appropriate support such as ACAS or an employment solicitor.

4. Your responsibility

By booking a session with Klar, you confirm that:

  • You understand this service provides HR support, not legal advice

  • All decisions about your workplace situation are yours to make

  • You are responsible for any actions you take following your session

  • You will seek legal advice where appropriate

5. Outcomes

Klar cannot guarantee specific outcomes from workplace processes, meetings, or conversations. My goal is to help you gain clarity about your situation and handle it with confidence. The outcome of any workplace process depends on factors outside my control.

6. Confidentiality

All sessions are completely confidential. Your employer will not be informed that you have spoken to Klar.

The only exception to confidentiality is if you disclose something that suggests you or someone else is at serious risk of harm. In those rare circumstances, I may need to break confidentiality to ensure safety.

7. Session notes

I may keep brief notes from our session for my own records. These are kept securely and confidentially and will not be shared with any third party without your permission, except where required by law.

8. Payment

  • Payment is taken in full at the time of booking

  • Sessions are priced as follows:

    • 30-minute session: £25 (standard) / £35 (evening & weekend)

    • 60-minute session: £45 (standard) / £60 (evening & weekend)

  • All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes

9. Cancellations and rescheduling

  • If you need to reschedule, please get in touch and we will arrange another time

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable

  • If you cancel with more than 24 hours' notice, a full refund will be issued

  • If I need to cancel your session for any reason, a full refund will be issued or an alternative time offered

10. Discovery calls

Free 15-minute discovery calls are available to help you decide whether a session is right for you. Discovery calls are informal and do not constitute a full HR support session.

11. Limitation of liability

Klar provides support to the best of its professional ability based on experience and qualifications. However:

  • Klar cannot be held responsible for decisions you make following a session

  • Klar cannot be held responsible for outcomes of workplace processes

  • Klar's liability is limited to the amount paid for the session in question

12. Professional indemnity

Klar holds professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the services provided.

13. Data protection

Klar processes your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. By booking a session, you consent to Klar holding your name, contact details, and brief session notes for the purpose of delivering this service.

Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

You have the right to request access to, amendment of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting me directly.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
