Workplace Confidence Coaching UK | Recover from Redundancy, Disciplinary, PIP & Grievances

Had your confidence knocked by redundancy, a disciplinary, PIP or a a grievance raised by yourself or against you? Klar's three-session coaching package helps employees rebuild and move forward.

I support employees following some of the most stressful workplace situations there are such as redundancies, disciplinaries, grievances, Performance Improvement Plans, and everything in between. I know that getting through the process is only part of it, but what often stays with people long after the paperwork is done is the knock to their confidence, their sense of self, and how they feel about work.

Losing your job or going through redundancy can feel like rejection, even when you know it isn't personal. You might even be sick of hearing people saying it’s not personal, but of course it is to you. However well you handle the process itself, there's often a point afterwards where it hits you, the loss of identity, the uncertainty, the quiet voice asking whether you were really as good as you thought you were.

Going through a disciplinary is tough, even if you're cleared. Even if the outcome is fair, the experience of being investigated, of having your conduct picked apart, maybe even being suspended, sitting in those meetings, it all leaves a mark. Particularly if you’re far into your career and have never experienced this situation before. To some it even feels humiliating and they may start second-guessing decisions they'd never have thought twice about before. Some people never quite get their confidence back in that workplace and decide to leave voluntarily.

A grievance is exhausting whichever side of it you're on. If you raised one, you did the hardest thing by speaking up on something that may have been building up for a while. Then you had to live through the process, often still turning up to work, still seeing the person involved, still pretending everything was fine. Even when it goes in your favour, it doesn't necessarily feel like a win, and working relationships might feel awkward. If a grievance was raised against you, you may have felt blindsided or defensive, like it was deeply unfair, and yet had very little space to say so. Either way, it leaves a mark that for some can be hard to let go of.

Whichever process you've been through, it ends at some point, but it can live in you and impact you for a long time. If you are struggling to separate yourself from what happened, if your confidence has taken a hit you can't seem to shake, or if you just don't feel like yourself at work anymore, this is for you.

Over three sessions over a period of 6 weeks, we work through what happened and what it's done to your confidence, build on your strengths and what you already have, and get you clear on what you want work to look like from here. This is for people who handled the process but haven't quite recovered from it. Those who are second-guessing themselves, dreading going back or being back, or not sure they want to stay. First session will focus on what happened and how we can remocve you from the process, second session is on building resilience and feeling more confident, which we will then build on for the third session where will also have you will be in a place where you can see this from the outside. You leave feeling clearer about what happened, more like yourself again, and with a concrete plan for moving forward.

Here are some client testimonials:

“I had three sessions with Liv which have been super valuable. When we first started, I felt quite lost in my career and didn’t know which direction to go. I had lost a lot of confidence as the result of redundancies and felt stuck in a rut with my career. During the sessions, Liv always gave me the space to feel heard and asked probing questions from my responses. I gained a lot of clarity during our sessions and have begun exploring a career change as a result. Three months ago, I didn’t know what I had wanted but the support from Liv gave me the confidence to explore other career options. I feel more positive about my future from the sessions and recommend them to anyone.”

“I had a really great experience working with Liv. She made me feel comfortable straight away, and it was easy to open up without feeling judged.

Her sessions were relaxed but still really useful and I always came away with something to think about or something practical I could actually use. She knows how to ask the right questions and gently push you in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming.

I’ve definitely noticed a boost in my confidence and clarity since working with her. I feel more sure of myself and better equipped to deal with things that used to hold me back.

I’d 100% recommend Liv if you’re thinking about coaching - it’s been such a worthwhile experience.”
