Maternity Leave Support

You come to me because you're going on maternity leave or you've recently returned and something doesn't feel right. You might be worried about how you've been treated, changes to your role, unsure of what your return to work looks like, comments that were made, or what this means for your job longer term.

I start by understanding what stage you're at, whether you're about to go on leave, currently on leave, or have already returned, and what has happened so far.

I talk through what you've been told, what has changed, and what your employer is expected to do during maternity leave and on your return.

I help you understand what is normal, what isn't, and where things often become muddled or poorly handled in practice.

If you're considering raising concerns, I look at whether that's best done informally, how to approach those conversations, and what the potential impact might be on your working relationship.

My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you understand where you stand, what your options are, and how to approach the situation in a way that feels manageable and clear.
